I didn’t have the best experience with the chat. On my end, some messages would show up late, and the replies felt a little strange at times. It made it hard for me to keep a normal conversation going, so I was a bit disappointed.

I signed up just to check it out, but ended up getting charged more than I expected. I feel like this kind of thing used to be handled a lot better. Finding the cancel page was more annoying than it should’ve been, and while support did eventually reply, it took too long. Overall, not a great experience

Well... I’d give bangmeetup 4 stars mostly because the profile verification actually seems to do its job. Mine took a little while to get approved, which was a bit annoying, but once it went through I did notice fewer obviously fake-looking profiles compared to some other sites I’ve tried. It’s not perfect though, a few profiles still seemed inactive or kind of old. Overall, it feels decent and isn’t too frustrating to use.

I did get a few matches that were sort of what I was looking for, so it’s not like the app was totally off. But quite a few people were either farther away than I expected or didn’t really line up with the preferences I set.

Overall, it’s okay, just kind of hit or miss. Some profiles seemed genuine and worth checking out, while others felt random. I’d probably give it 3 stars because it does work sometimes, but the match quality could definitely be better. It just felt..

I signed up, realized quickly it wasn’t for me, and asked for a refund. Simple enough, right? Nope. Their first reply took forever and was so vague it felt like some half-assed copy-paste nonsense.

I ended up having to message them a few times before anyone gave me a straight answer. it felt like they were just dragging their feet and hoping I’d get tired of asking, which is a crappy way to treat people.

To be fair, they did eventually respond and I wasn’t completely ignored. But the whole refund process was annoying, slow, and way more difficult than it needed to be. 2 stars because it got handled in the end, but damn, get it together...

I signed up mainly because I wanted to find people nearby, but the search filters really didn’t do what I expected. I’d set an age range and distance, and then still see profiles that were way outside of both.
A lot of the results also looked like they hadn’t been active in a while, so I ended up feeling like I was just scrolling for no real reason. The site itself loaded fine, but filtering was the main thing I needed it to do well.

It’s not the worst site I’ve used or anything, but it got frustrating fast. I really wouldn’t keep paying for it unless they improve the search tools...

The profiles felt legit to me. It’s one of those small things that makes the whole experience feel more human, like you’re actually getting a sense of real people instead of just scrolling through random, empty-looking accounts.

I did end up meeting one person through it, so I guess it technically worked? The experience was okay overall, but I’m still kind of mixed on it?? Not bad, just not sure how I feel yet

I gave BangMeetup a try for a little while, but compared to other apps I’ve used, there just weren’t many people close to me. A few profiles looked active, which was nice, but most of them were way too far away to be realistic. If you’re in a bigger city it might be different, but living outside one made it disappointing for me.

I had a little trouble logging in and reached out to support. They got back to me the same day, which I appreciated. It did take one extra message to fully sort things out, but they were polite about it and everything worked in the end.

I wasn’t a big fan of how the prices were laid out. At first it seemed straightforward, but after I signed in, extra fees and options started popping up. I could be wrong, but it almost felt like they keep some of the real cost hidden until you’re further along. Maybe that’s just how these sites usually work, but I’d rather see the full price from the start. It’s not a terrible site or anything, just not great when it comes to being clear about the money side.
